Collection of health care
It is made of medical material, which was used in partisan hospitals during the Second World War. The core of this collection consists of improvised surgical and other instruments, as well as bandage material made of various fabrics. While a special group of museum objects consists of medical material from the time of the battles on the Neretva and Sutjeska, and then a group of objects from Auschwitz. The collection is periodically supplemented with new medical material. The permanent exhibition of the Military Museum houses one of the most valuable parts of the medical collection, an improvised partisan hospital, with medical instruments, a sterilizer made of two soldier's rations, a cauldron for boiling bandages, and stretchers for the wounded, which faithfully reconstructs the history of medical care during World War II.
