Exhibition announcement
On the occasion of marking the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces, on April 22, 2025. at 2:00 p.m. in the Gallery of the Military Museum on Kalemegdan, the exhibition "Worthy - significant anniversaries of modern Serbian history through awards from the Military Museum collection" will be opened, by senior curator Bojan Vićentić.
This exhibition marks the anniversaries of the Second Serbian Uprising, the Serbian uprising in Herzegovina better known as the "Nevesin Rifle", the retreat of the Serbian army and people through Albania in 1915 during the First World War and the liberation of our country from occupation in the Second World War in 1945. The exhibition will present the most important decorations of Serbia and Yugoslavia dedicated to these historical events. Visitors will be able to meet prominent figures from our history, holders of awards for various merits, and part of the display will be clothes and uniforms from the period that are the subject of the exhibition.
The exhibition "Worthy - significant anniversaries of modern Serbian history through decorations from the collection of the Military Museum" will be open until June 20, 2025. year.
