Exhibition "Worthy - significant anniversaries of modern Serbian history through decorations from the collection of the Military Museum" opened



On the occasion of the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces, on April 22, 2025. at 2:00 p.m. in the Gallery of the Military Museum on Kalemegdan, the exhibition "Worthy - significant anniversaries of modern Serbian history through decorations from the collection of the Military Museum" was opened by Senior Curator Bojan Vićentić. The exhibition was opened by Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources sir Siniša Radović, who on this occasion congratulated all members of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense, as well as the employees of the Military Museum on the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces and Easter/
This exhibition marks the anniversaries of the Second Serbian Uprising, the Serbian uprising in Herzegovina better known as the "Nevesin Gun", the withdrawal of the Serbian army and people through Albania in 1915 during the First World War and the liberation of our country from occupation in the Second World War in 1945. The exhibition will present the most important decorations of Serbia and Yugoslavia dedicated to these historical events. Visitors will be able to meet prominent figures from our history, holders of awards for various merits, and part of the display will be clothes and uniforms from the period that are the subject of the exhibition.

The exhibition "Worthy - significant anniversaries of modern Serbian history through decorations from the collection of the Military Museum" will be open until June 20, 2025. year.
